Summer Camp 2026
Darimar Martial Arts offers eleven fun-filled weeks of Summer Day Camp. With a focus on martial arts, the program is designed to instill important values and skills, such as teamwork, confidence, focus, discipline, and fitness for children from the ages of 4 ½ to 13 years.
At Darimar we host traditional day camp activities such as arts & crafts, water day fun; including but not exclusive to water balloons/water guns/and more, archery, ice cream trips, dance parties, and weekly field trips!
Each week is geared toward a special theme teaching our students an important life lesson; such as leading without being bossy, treating others with kindness, the value of teamwork, and much more!
New to Taekwondo? Don’t worry! Every year new summer campers with no martial arts background start as white belts and learn and practice various techniques each day of camp.
Details and Fees At a Glance

- 7:00 to 8:30 AM and 3:30 – 6:00 PM extended care
- $50 new uniform fee
- $319 per week
- Early Bird: Save $10 per week – offer expires 3/31/26

- Siblings: 10% discount -offer expires 4/30/26
Registration Payment
You have the option to either pay in full or pay a $50 deposit for each week per camper. The $50 amount will be deducted from the corresponding weeks’ camp balance. The remaining balance will be charged by the Friday before the registered session begins.
Extended Care
- 7:00 am – 8:30 am, 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm
- $5 per hour per child
- You must have a payment method on file to use extended care. We track each minute a camper attends during extended care hours. The total minutes for each week are tallied on Fridays. Once totals are calculated we will charge your card on file.
- Children may be dropped off as early as 7:00 am and picked up anytime between 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm. During the “Extended Care” hours, children will have structured free play, game room activities or they may bring their own entertainment to play in a supervised environment until their parents arrive. In order for us to charge a pre & post-camp fee at the end of the week, a credit card is required to be kept on file with your account.
Activity Schedule
Field Trips
The field trips include COSI, Gahanna Lanes, Trampoline Park, Magic Mountain, Blendon Woods Natural Play Areas, Swimming at the Gahanna Pool, local parks, and more! Schedules can be changed or moved around during camp if needed due to weather delays or other unforeseen circumstances. Darimar Martial Arts has three 15-passenger vans and one 12-passenger van that will be used throughout the program to transport campers for off-site events. All drivers are employees of Darimar and are van-certified. We may also rent a standard size school bus with a certified driver to transport our campers depending on total registration and daily attendance.
Added Notes for Summer Camp
Enroll Early
Enrollment is limited; Campers are encouraged to register as early as possible. Full participation while attending camp is required, unless there is a doctor’s excuse.
Campers are Responsible for Their Belongings
Each camper is required to bring a packed lunch every day. No microwaveable food. Please be sure that your child’s name is on his/her lunch bag. We will provide snacks throughout the day.
Clothing and Shoes
Please bring uniforms on Monday and leave them until Friday; take them home on Friday to be washed. If you are not a Darimar member and need to purchase a uniform, you may do so for the price of $50.00. Each camper needs to leave an extra change of clothing in a Ziploc Gallon Bag with their name on the bag. Tennis shoes must be worn or brought to camp for outside play. Children are NOT allowed to play outside in sandals, crocs, flip-flops, and open toed or backless shoes. We will give one free t-shirt for all campers. Additional t-shirts may be purchased for $15 apiece. If you register for more than 5 weeks of camp, you will receive one extra t-shirt for free. Campers must wear their t-shirt on all field trip days.
Swimming Attire
Swimming pool day is on Wednesdays. Your child needs to bring a swimsuit, towel, and sunblock.
Electronic Equipment
There are to be NO cell phones unless authorized. They will be confiscated and given to the parent at the end of the day. Hand-held games are permitted, but are only allowed during specified times. However, Darimar is not responsible for replacement if lost or damaged.
